North Rhine-Westphalia – the top region in Germany

Our health experts are all located in North Rhine-Westphalia. This region is the most prominent medical region with a huge think tank of medicine related knowledge and expertise. The capital city is Düsseldorf. Within around 100km you find a lot of health-, rehabilitation- and plastic surgery centers. North Rhine-Westphalia is the most populous state in Germany. Four of the ten largest cities in Germany are located here. You will find traces of ancient history, e.g. the Cologne Cathedral, one of the most popular sightseeing destinations around the world.

With Düsseldorf and Cologne airport, there are two airports with international importance. The journey to southern Germany to the classic tourist destinations such as Munich and Neuschwanstein Castle is manageable with around a flight hour.
